Job Title: Nursery Chef
Vacancy Type: Immediate start, permanent role
Pay Rate: Up to £17 per hour*
Location: South East London, England (map)
Nursery Chef Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve fresh, nutritious meals and snacks tailored to children's needs
Maintain exemplary food hygiene and kitchen safety standards at all times
Manage allergen and dietary requirement information for all children
Assist with menu planning and seasonal ingredient sourcing
Work closely with nursery staff to ensure smooth and timely mealtimes
Nursery Chef Requirements:
Experience working as a Chef in a nursery, school, or early years setting
Relevant culinary qualification (City & Guilds 706-1 & 2 or equivalent)
Working knowledge of allergen management and children's nutritional requirements
Enhanced DBS Certificate OR open to applying for one with us
Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate OR open to completing training with us
Safeguarding of Children awareness OR open to completing with us
