First Call Employment Agency Kitchen Porter Key Responsibilities 

• Ensure all pots, pans, and cutlery are washed and sanitized promptly to keep the kitchen running smoothly during peak service hours. 

• Assist the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks; such as peeling vegetables or organizing ingredients, as requested by the Head Chef. 

• Responsible for the regular disposal of kitchen waste and recycling, ensuring all bins are emptied and areas are kept hygienic. 

• Clean and sanitize food preparation surfaces, floors, and equipment to meet rigorous health and safety standards. 

• Help with the unloading and organized storage of food deliveries, ensuring the pantry and walk-in fridges remain orderly. 

Kitchen Porter Job Requirements 

• The ability to stay active and productive in a physically demanding, high-heat environment during busy shifts.
