Nursery Chef Job Details 

• Job Title: Nursery Chef 

• Vacancy Type: Immediate start, permanent role 

• Pay Rate: From £17 per hour* 

• Location: South West London (map) 

Responsibilities: 

• Plan and prepare nutritious, balanced meals tailored to young children's dietary needs 

• Maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic kitchen environment at all times 

• Cater for children with allergies, intolerances, and specific dietary requirements 

• Manage stock levels and liaise with nursery management on menu planning 

• Support kitchen assistants and ensure smooth day-to-day kitchen operations 

Requirements: 

• Previous experience in a chef role within a nursery, school, or similar childcare environment 

• Relevant culinary qualification (City & Guilds 706-1 & 2 or equivalent) 

• Understanding of allergen management and special dietary requirements for children 

• Enhanced DBS Certificate OR open to applying for one with us 

• Valid Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate OR open to completing training with us 

• Safeguarding of Children awareness OR open to undertaking training with us 

• Reliable, caring, and a great team player
