Responsibilities
As a school kitchen assistant, you will be responsible for:
Preparing and cooking school meals: Assisting in food preparation and setting up for service.
Serving and presenting food and beverages: Providing friendly and fast service to students and staff during meal times.
Clearing away: Cleaning surfaces, scraping food debris into appropriate bins, and moving dirty dishes to wash-up area.
Washing up and maintaining cleanliness: Ensuring all utensils, kitchenware, and equipment are clean and ready to use.
Requirements
At least 3 month's recent experience working as a catering assistant.
A valid enhanced child DBS certificate (or willingness to apply for one, our friendly team can help you through the application process).
Being able to work Monday to Friday, with varying shift times, but generally from 08:30 – 14:00.
Required to work within schools in the Godalming area of Surrey.
